Georgia Pre-K, A Free, State-Funded Program

We know how meaningful these early years are and how important it feels to find a place where your four-year old child is supported, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. Choosing a Pre-K program is a big step, and we believe it should feel reassuring

Our schools were thoughtfully designed around the details that matter most to families, including:

  • A nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and cared for
  • Hands-on learning that builds confidence, curiosity, and real-world understanding
  • Caring, highly trained teachers who partner with families every step of the way

We believe every family deserves access to high-quality early education. That's why we proudly participate in Georgia's Pre-K Program, helping more children build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond, at no cost to families.

About Georgia's Pre-K Program

Georgia's Pre-K Program is a free, state-funded early education program for four-year-olds that supports learning, social development, and kindergarten readiness during this important year of growth.

Children enrolled in Georgia Pre-K attend a structured instructional day, five days a week, during the school year. Participation is voluntary, and families must apply to be considered for available spots.

Each participating school sets its own application timelines and enrollment process, which may include lotteries or waitlists based on availability.

Who Is Eligible?

Georgia Pre-K is available to children who:

  • Are four years old on or before September 1 of the school year they plan to attend
  • Meet age and residency requirements for the state of Georgia

Some programs may have additional enrollment guidelines, including policies related to children who are already age-eligible for kindergarten. Families are encouraged to review program details carefully during the application process.

What You'll Need to Apply

When applying for Georgia Pre-K, you will be asked to provide:

  • Proof of your child's age
  • Proof of Georgia residency
  • A completed Pre-K application

If your child is offered a spot, additional health and enrollment documentation may be required before the school year begins.

We're always happy to help guide families through what to expect and try to help answer questions along the way.
